Join the conversation at the library as part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read: Agrarian Literary League program.
Centered on the book, A Lesson Before Dying, by Ernst J. Gaines, the library will host book discussion groups in September and October. The library will provide refreshments and discussion questions.
No registration is required to attend. It is open to all ages but we ask anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult.
To receive a complimentary copy of this book, you can attend the NEA Big Read: Agrarian Literary League Fall Festival on Saturday, September 8th at The Berry Center in New Castle, Kentucky. The festival begins at 10:00 a.m.
As part of the NEA BIG READ: Agrarian Literary League program, the Henry County Public Library and the Berry Center will host several events to centered around this year’s selected book, A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J.
