Learning Depot Story Time

Our Library is pleased to announce a second story time, now offered after school!

Please join Miss Sara Beth in the Learning Depot every Tuesday at 4pm for an all-age story time with arts and crafts.

Miss Sara has been a staple in the community since childhood and we are honored she’s joined our library, where she is thriving as she takes over some of our children’s programming.

She is a natural and a delight and she can’t wait to meet you and your littles!

Name the Dragon and Decorate its Scales!

If you haven’t been to HCPL this autumn, you’re in for a fairy tale treat! The Learning Depot is full of fantastical activities, including a new puppet theatre, a cozy little castle-tent, and an enchanted forest mural.

You’ll also find a GIANT DRAGON! (Don’t worry, it’s just cardboard.) Our dear dragon is in need of a few more scales and a name! Swing by to decorate a scale and submit your name suggestion. We will vote on the name and the winning submission will receive a swag-bag as thanks!
