This free class will be offered at the library, in our amphitheater every first and third Friday of the month (as long as weather permits).

The principles learned and practiced in this on-going class will help create well-being in both body and mind. You will learn a series of Tai Chi postures, also known as a “form”, and can begin any time, as the principles and techniques will be repeated and practiced each class.

Tai Chi is a standing, slow moving mind-body practice, often referred to as “moving meditation”.

Your teacher is Bayley Thompson, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and an AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor. She has been learning and practicing traditional Yang style Tai Chi Chuan for over a decade and is a certified instructor of Dr. Keith Jeffery’s “Easy Tai Chi” method and the Infinite Nine form.
