Big Winter Blowout
All ages are welcome at the Big Winter Blowout, a day-long event to celebrate the colder months.
This year’s annual Big Winter Blowout begins with a visit from Santa at 10 a.m. Santa will be at the library giving out books until 11:30 a.m.
Gingerbread House making begins at 11 a.m. and will continue while supplies last.
Join us at 1 p.m. in the meeting room for a special interactive movie event for the whole family. Enjoy yummy snacks and become a part of the story as we watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Visit the Winter Wonderland in the Children’s Area for an indoor snowball fight and arts & crafts activities. The snowball fight will be open in the Learning Depot until 1:00 p.m.
During this event, the library will be accepting donations of full or travel-size body wash and shampoo, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other personal care items for the Community Comfort Cabinets. Please consider donating to help us spread comfort during the winter months. For a complete list of items accepted, click here: Community Comfort Cabinets
