Little Life Skills

November 19 @ 4:30 am - 6:30 pm

A colorful illustrated poster titled “LITTLE LIFE SKILLS” for children ages 18 months to 5 years. Large black block letters fill the center against a pale blue, speckled background. Around the title are cartoon scenes showing young children practicing everyday tasks: sweeping and using a dustpan, preparing vegetables, washing dishes, vacuuming, eating at a table, and brushing their teeth. Small peach-colored decorative shapes appear around the edges.Families with children ages 18 months to 4 years are invited to a special night at the library.

During Little Life Skills children can rotate through several fun activity stations, like vacuuming with a hand vacuum, dressing a stuffed animal, and wiping up a spill. Each station is designed to practice a life skill while also building small and large motor skills.
