At our first Family Activity Night of the season builders will construct and decorate a haunted house using paper forms, graham crackers, and fun candy decorations while supplies last. Family Movie Night: Interactive Edition

Celebrate the spooky season at this interactive movie event. Each attendee will receive a bag filled with all the items to participate in the screening of Halloween classic Hocus Pocus.  Three 17th-century witches, hanged for their murderous crimes, are resurrected on Halloween in modern-day Salem by an unsuspecting boy, who must now figure out how to get them back in the ground. While you’re out trick-or-treating stop by the library’s from porch and pick up the best treat or all, a new book for your home library. We’ll also have candy, and fun take-and-make crafts.

Messy Science!

Learn scientific principles with messy, hands-on activities (the kind you wouldn't want to do at home)! This program is ideal for homeschoolers and students in grades 4 through 9. Activities will require some supervision and spare clothes or smocks are recommended. Visit anytime within the 2-hour window to give these experiments a try!

Family Movie Night

At November's Family Movie Night we'll watch a new film based on a classic children's book. To encourage everyone to be as creative as Harold each attendee will receive a sketchbook and their own purple crayon.
