Stay and Play 2nd Saturdays and Last Thursdays 10-11:30 a.m., For Ages 0-4 Visit with your littlest learner to play and socialize with others. There will be many activities to choose from, including puppets, sensory play, special reading nooks, blocks, and more. Come enjoy some unstructured play together. Please note, this is unstructured free play for both caregiver and child, not a structured Story Time.
Move, groove, and learn together at Movers & Shakers. The program mixes music and movement with early literacy and social skills practice to provide a well-rounded learning experience for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers. It’s a great way to make new friends while learning through play.
Join us for a free movie matinee for everyone! The library will provide the snacks. You are welcome to bring blankets and pillows from home to help you get comfortable.
We will be making our own sunflower magnets using canning rings and scrap fabric.
Join us before the Big Bang Boom concert for some fun music themed activities. You can even make a ribbon dancer to use during the show.
Rock Out to Parent Friendly Children’s Music! Big Bang Boom’s live show is high-energy. Both caregivers and children find it hard to stay in their seats! From calling kids onstage or encouraging parent participation, Big Bang Boom has made certain that there is no sitting down at this energetic show. Stop by the library parking lot for fun science experiments, creative craft projects, and more. Each week will feature a different activity to help families earn badges in our Summer Learning Program. All ages are welcome, but anyone under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
