Makerspace - Create, Learn, Explore
What is the Makerspace?
The Makerspace is an area where users can access tools and equipment to design, fabricate, and enhance their own creations. The Makerspace is open to all cardholding patrons of the Henry County Public Library. Please note that patrons are required to undergo a Makerspace training session in order to use the space on their own. The training typically lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
What tools are available?
The Henry County Public Library currently provides access to 2 3D printers, 1 Cricut Explore series, 1 Cricut Easypress, 1 sewing/embroidery machine, 1 button press, and a variety of miscellaneous hand tools and accessories.
We also provide laptops for in-house use; each laptop is pre-loaded with every piece of software needed to run the equipment.
