Calling all homeschool families! Did you know the library has over 100 board games and card games? Come try out a few and take home your new favorite! We’ll also do a Mother’s Day craft suitable for all ages, so there’s something for everyone! Come play, do a craft, and socialize any time from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, April 30th. Messy Science!
Learn scientific principles with messy, hands-on activities (the kind you wouldn’t want to do at home)! This program is ideal for homeschoolers and students in grades 4 through 9. Activities will require some supervision and spare clothes or smocks are recommended. Visit anytime within the 2-hour window to give these experiments a try!
Sensory-Friendly Storytime
Help Miss Lizzie develop a sensory-friendly storytime for your neurodivergent littles. Through board books, manipulatives, and more, we will explore our senses of hearing (quietly), touch (by choice), smell (in small doses), and sight.
