Join us for a guided course on the basics of 3D printing! Participants will be walked through every stage of preparing a file, from finding it to exporting it. Every attendee will be allowed to order a free print (up to a material cost of $5).
Stop by the library for science experiments, creative craft projects, building challenges, special guests, and more. Each week will feature different activities to help families earn badges in the Summer Learning Program. This program takes place inside and outside, so we can get messy. Please dress accordingly. *Anyone under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Every Wednesday in June and July, middle and high school students are invited to join us in the Teen Space for activities, crafts, snacks, and more. Each session takes place from 1-3 p.m.
Bring your littlest learner to play and socialize at the library. There will be many activities to choose from, including puppets, sensory play, blocks, and more. Weather permitting, this program will take place outside, so come prepared for outdoor fun. Please note, this is unstructured free play for both caregiver and child, not a structured Story Time.
Makerspace staff will be available to answer questions and take walk-in appointments for various pieces of equipment. See the 3D printer, Cricut cutting machine, & laser engraver in action and make things of your own! Please note: Patrons are required to bring their own materials for all pieces of equipment except the 3D printer. 3D printing is provided at-cost at a rate of $0.03 per gram of filament printed.
Join us in the library's meeting room to code and play with robots! Use Dash & Dot, Snap Circuits, Lego Spike and more at a variety of self-directed stations. This program is for children ages 6 to 14.
