Bring your littlest learner to play and socialize at the library. There will be many activities to choose from, including puppets, sensory play, blocks, and more. Weather permitting, this program will take place outside, so come prepared for outdoor fun. Please note, this is unstructured free play for both caregiver and child, not a structured Story Time.
Makerspace staff will be available to answer questions and take walk-in appointments for various pieces of equipment. See the 3D printer, Cricut cutting machine, & laser engraver in action and make things of your own! Please note: Patrons are required to bring their own materials for all pieces of equipment except the 3D printer. 3D printing is provided at-cost at a rate of $0.03 per gram of filament printed.
Join us in the library's meeting room to code and play with robots! Use Dash & Dot, Snap Circuits, Lego Spike and more at a variety of self-directed stations. This program is for children ages 6 to 14.
Gather at the library for stories, rhymes, and more. Each session features a different theme and special activities based on the early literacy practices of reading, talking, singing, writing, and playing.
The bookmobile is coming to visit your neighborhood to offer library services and more.....
Children and teens are invited to stop by the library every Friday in June and July from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to complete a fun activity and pick up a bag of snacks. Activities will be appropriate for all ages and will help participants earn Summer Learning Badges.
Move, groove, and learn together at Movers & Shakers. The program combines music and movement with early literacy and social skills practice to provide a well-rounded learning experience for infants, toddlers, and caregivers. It’s a great way to make new friends while learning through play.
Bring your blankets and pillows from home and get comfortable for this laid-back, family movie event. Snacks are provided by the library free of charge.
Play Dungeons & Dragons at your local library! Bring a level 3 character or use a pre-made one, with a new adventure every month. Pizza will be provided. Please RSVP if you plan on attending. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
