Each week will feature different activities to help families earn badges in the Summer Learning Program. This program takes place inside and outside, so we can get messy. As Summer Learning 2025 winds down participants in the program will still have until August 15 the read and complete activities to earn badges. To help you out the library will have special activities set up in the Children’s Area on Saturday, August 2. There will be art projects, science experiments, building challenges and more. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to join in the fun.

Makerspace staff will be available to answer questions and take walk-in appointments for various pieces of equipment. See the 3D printer, Cricut cutting machine, & laser engraver in action and make things of your own! Please note: Patrons are required to bring their own materials for all pieces of equipment except the 3D printer. 3D printing is provided at-cost at a rate of $0.03 per gram of filament printed.
