Enjoy the longest day of the year at the library with special activities, including a foam party, games, water play, and more. The Kentucky State Police will visit with their Safety Town, and our Friends from Kiwanis Club of Henry County will provide free lunch for everyone. Make sure you're dressed appropriately for outdoor, messy play.

Adults will weave a blueberry basket while kids 9 and up will create a pencil holder. Anyone under nine will learn basic weaving skills by making a bowl out of a paper plate. Each week will feature different activities to help families earn badges in the Summer Learning Program. This program takes place inside and outside, so we can get messy. Please dress accordingly. *This program was formerly known as Parking Lot Projects. *Anyone under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring your littlest learner to play and socialize at the library. There will be many activities to choose from, including puppets, sensory play, special reading nooks, blocks, and more. Weather permitting, this program will take place outside, so come prepared for some outdoor fun. Please note, this is unstructured free play for both caregiver and child, not a structured Story Time.
